Recognizes an innovative product, equipment, technology or solution that provides significant added value to automotive and mobility professionals.

Recognizes a service, digital solution, distribution model or mobility offering that enhances customer experience or improves operational performance.

Recognizes an initiative contributing to the development of the automotive and mobility industry in Africa, particularly through projects related to training and skills development, employment, entrepreneurship, local industrial development, sustainable development and the circular economy.

Awarded at the Jury’s discretion, this award recognizes a company or initiative considered particularly outstanding.

Franck Lovens is a Senior Automotive Consultant with over 40 years’ experience in the automotive distribution sector in Africa. Throughout his career, he has held a number of senior management roles, notably heading up after-sales operations, spare parts sales and vehicle distribution. From 2010 until the end of 2025, he served as managing director of dealerships representing several renowned car manufacturers and automotive equipment suppliers.

Aliou Sow is a trained legal professional with more than 27 years of experience in the automotive sector, supporting local businesses involved in automotive trade, repair and related services. After joining the Fédération Nationale de l’Automobile (FNA) in 1999, he is now its General Delegate. He is also involved in the development of the automotive sector in Africa, particularly in the areas of vocational training, vehicle maintenance and repair.

Pascal Trotier has been working for 20 years in the fields of construction, project management and transport infrastructure. With extensive international and multicultural experience, he has developed particular expertise in the construction, maintenance and asset management of infrastructure. Since 2016, he has been leading PAVEXPERT, a company specialising in strategic advisory and infrastructure management.

Honorat ESSO, also known as HONOVOITURE, is an automotive professional with more than 10 years of experience in the sector. His career has spanned used vehicle sales, car dealerships, automotive events and the development of mobility projects. As an entrepreneur and trainer, he is currently developing his own brand of car care products while also helping future automotive professionals build their skills.

Éric Vigouroux is a French entrepreneur and an explorer of the mobility solutions of tomorrow. A former rally-raid driver, he took part in fifteen editions of the Dakar Rally and won the 2010 FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup in the two-wheel-drive category. As the founder of La Croisière Verte, a journey of more than 17,000 km from Paris to Cape Town in electric Citroën Ami vehicles, he now brings his experience in adventure, innovation and sustainable mobility to the jury of the EQUIP AUTO Africa Awards.
